Manny Gutierrez Breaks Down Gender Boundaries, Rocks Glam Look In New Big Shot Mascara Campaign By Maybelline New York

Maybelline New York finally launched its first ever male model for the new mascara variant. Manny Gutierrez totally rocked a glam look using the new Big Shot!

Titled as “That Boss Life,” the new campaign also featured make-up blogger Shayla Mitchell. Gutierrez, 25, is the very first male model featured in a beauty campaign.

Known as “beauty boy” to his fans, Manny Gutierrez gained millions of followers by simply posting makeup tutorials. He told Teen Vogue he already had a twenty-year affair with makeup, adding he is totally fascinated by it.

“As a child, I would watch my mom get ready for work and just sit there for hours watching her transform, Manny Gutierrez revealed. “However, it wasn’t until much later on that I really started to dabble in makeup myself.”

The beauty boy left medical school to pursue his career on beauty and makeup. “I did have push back in the beginning of my career because my parents weren’t really sure what I was going to do with my life going in the route of makeup” Manny Gutierrez  stated. “I was planning on medical school so when I threw the makeup wrench at them, they were not expecting that.”

Manny Gutierrez’ debut as the newest star of Maybelline New York’s mascara campaign received mixed reactions. Some say it is so brave of him to lead the campaign while there are also few who thinks this is all just part of the business — to create buzz and get attention.

However, despite that, Manny Gutierrez and Shayla Mitchell are totally happy of their newest milestone in their new career. Watch the new Big Shot mascare campaign below:
